COMA Technology is mainly producing the parts of sapphire, alumina, ceramics, quartz, etc. for semiconductor and LCD equipment and other machines as requested by customers based on the outstanding technology in ultra precision shape machining of such hard materials as above and the super mirror surface lapping/polishing capacity for surface roughness improvement.
We are a young company leaping toward the leading position in the market of the core parts for semiconductor, LCD equipment, etc. We pursue customer satisfaction through not only our unique and outstanding manufacturing/machining technology and the lapping/polishing technology, but also the lowest prices, top quality, punctual delivery, etc.
The quality and technologies are absolutely second to none in Korea. Especially currently taking notice of the fact that by replacing the existing materials of the parts with sapphire we can extend the equipment lifetime remarkably and minimize the particles, thus increasing the interval between part replacements and reducing the downtime, which in turn reduces the cost and increases the yield rate eventually. We are trying to develop the new market for moving to sapphire parts.

1 . Sapphire parts |
|
Sapphire is a ultra high purity (alumina 99.9999%) single crystal material having super hardness and strength next to diamond. It has also such prominent features as high heat resistance (enduring the high temperature of 2040˚C), chemical resistance, excellent optical and mechanical properties. So it is applied in the extreme circumstances like where NF3 and CF4 are used.

1) Sapphire Window
Sapphire is often used for windows in the extreme conditions owing to its excellent optical and mechanical properties and the stability in the high and low temperatures, In addition the strong resistance to scratch and the beautiful clear surface make it proper for cover glass of the high-end watches and smart watches.
(stability to heat, high transmissivity, super flatness, ultra hardness, chemical resistance, aesthetic characteristic)

2. Ceramic Products |

1) Porous Ceramic Vacuum Chuck
Porous ceramic is ceramic material which has numerous pores and a porous ceramic vacuum chuck is to hold objects while they are machined or processed. Since tiny pores are evenly spread on the whole surface of the chuck it is very helpful for even absorption of the object without leaving trail of the pores on the object and can be applied for highly precise absorption of ultra thin objects. It is antistatic and the excellent surface roughness allows no scratches on the object either.
2) Ceramic Plunger
Taking note of the ceramic's resistance to chemicals, heat, abrasion, and its low thermal expansivity, etc., we are now making plungers (pistons) for high pressure plunger pumps, medical peristaltic pumps, syringe pumps, etc. changing the material from the existing SUS or cemented carbide to ceramics.
